Resources: Bainbridge Chorale

Before joining Seattle Symphony Chorale, I had the pleasure of working for seven years with (and singing with) Bainbridge Chorale, as dedicated and hard-working a group of volunteers as you could hope to find in any community. It was a rewarding experience for me. Members rehearse under difficult conditions, and not only rehearse but sell tickets, arrange venues, get out the publicity, and even set up and remove risers for each performance.

Somehow they always make your attendance worth your time and (relatively small) expense.

Every year the chorale presents a Holiday Concert.

This year's concert, November 30 and December 1 and 2, is entitled "Joy from the World". As usual, Bainbridge Chorale is directed by Anthony Spain, accompanied by Anne Pell, and managed by the indefatigable Karen Rice. For the first time, the chorale will be joined by a newly-formed Bainbridge Chorale Young Singers.

I urge you to attend one of these performances. See their website for times and locations. You can purchase your tickets online, from one of the local outlets, or from a performer or volunteer.
